What’s the use of fancy graphical baublery if the design is based on an idea that’s weak or even non-existent? Great graphic design needs to follow an Idea, can never be an end in itself. To deep-dive into the promise of a product, a service or a company without being distracted, finding a core, a compelling answer and following its impulse means to lay the foundation for a visual language. If that happens, graphic design becomes joy, a lighthearted and fulfilling experience. Identifying the right idea, not design hysteria, is its essence.
Our design team stems from the design unit “Dorten Bauer” that Dorten founded together with Jörg Bauer in 2006. Jörg Bauer was one of the most often internationally awarded German designer of the last decade and before his engagement with Dorten Bauer worked as a freelancer for many acclaimed industry names. Very sadly, Jörg Bauer passed away in July of 2009. We are more than thankful for the successful years we worked together, proud of the work that was created during that time and that remain, and
are continuing along the path that we once set out on together.
